Day 1 - Monday: Arrival + bike tour to Langesø - ca. 13 km
After check-in we recommend a bike ride to the nearby Langesø, which is the name of both a lake and a manor house from the late 1700s in beautiful settings. Follow the route around the lake and through woodlands. Stop at the local ice cream shop, and take in the views, bird life and the peace and quiet atmosphere while tasting one of their great ice creams.
In the evening it's time to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and your 3-course welcome dinner.
Overnight stay in Odense.

Along the route you can stop to taste locally brewed beer along with your lunch. Odense is also synonymous with Odense Marcipan. Stop at a local chocolate shop to taste this Funen delight.
Today's stage will also take you along the picturesque Odense Stream and past the Funen Village, an open air museum where you can experience what life was like in the 1800s when Hans Christian Andersen grew up on Fyn.
In the evening, it's time to enjoy your 2-course dinner.
Overnight stay in Odense.
Day 3 - Wednesday: Odense to Halsmark Beach - ca. 75 km
After breakfast, you pack your cycle bag and head out on new adventures through the Funen landscape. Don't forget your swim suit and a towel, because you till be heading north to the local beach Halsmark Strand, loved by the locals on Fyn for its beauty. Halsmark is ca. halfway on this day's tour so it's time to relax and enjoy the sea views and a well-deserved lunch.
On your way back you till be cycling along the coast until you arrive north of Odense city. You will also be cycling past Stige Ø, a former waste island, now a wonderful nature reserve.
Continue through the quaint little town of Stige before heading back to your hotel.
After an amazing day of cycling, it's time to relax over your 2-course dinner.
Overnight stay in Odense.
Day 4 - Thursday: Odense to Kerteminde - ca. 60 km
The charming town of Kerteminde used to be Fyn’s most important harbor town and today the fishing harbor still plays an important role in the town’s life.
Take a stroll through the little cobble stone streets with the many small town houses, each with their own individual romantic charm.
On your way to Kerteminde we recommend stopping at a charming Danish Inn to enjoy a coffee or lunch before continuing your bike tour. From the Inn's terrace you have a fantastic view to the sea.
The statue of the fisher girl ‘Amanda’ located at Langebro is Kerteminde's landmark. In the narrow streets there are several protected strokes, and a building from 17th century houses the Kerteminde museum. Fiskergade is an example of a street with picturesque facades full of fantasy.
On your way back to Odense, stop at the Viking Museum Ladby to see the copy of the Ladby Viking ship. The original was Denmark’s only ship grave from the Viking period.
On your return route you will also be passing Ulriksholm Slot, one of the finest castles on Fyn. Its history goes back to the beginning of the 17th century, built by the Danish King Christian 4th for one of his illegitimate sons to serve as his residence.
After a day of cycling across the Eastern part of Fyn, your 2-course dinner will be waiting for you at the hotel restaurant.
Overnight stay in Odense.
Day 5 - Friday: Odense to the Funen Alps - ca. 35 km
Check out after breakfast, but we recommend staying a little longer to head out on a bike tour before continuing your journey or head home.
Today's route will take you south towards the hilly area area of central Fyn, also known as the Funen Alps.
Stop to visit the local farm shop at Bølle Æbler apple orchard where you can taste their organic produce, including their refreshing apple cider.
On your return to the hotel you can enjoy marvelous views from the 123m view point Dyred Banke. It is said that on a clear day you can see all the way across the sea to South Jutland.
